Job summary

Young Men's Christian Association of Singapore seeks a Senior Executive/Executive for Volunteer Management & Development to oversee end-to-end volunteer engagement, development and management, including recruitment, training and retention.

You will manage the volunteer lifecycle from screening to exit, maintain databases, and build relationships with volunteers and partner organisations while evaluating experiences.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma with 2–5 years’ experience in volunteer management or direct volunteering.
• Passionate about volunteer development and mobilisation and creating social impact.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
• Calm when faced with challenges and able to problem-solve.
• Self-initiated and strong team player.
• Excellent in planning and organising, able to handle multiple priorities, with keen attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment & Engagement: Develop and implement plans to attract volunteers with the right skills and interests for various roles and programmes.
• Recruitment & Engagement: Foster a positive and supportive environment to maintain volunteer motivation and commitment.
• Recruitment & Engagement: Work with the Programme Head to engage the YMCA Alumni.
