Job summary

You will lead multi-site operation teams, manage vendor relationships, and ensure health, safety and regulatory compliance while shaping strategic direction and cost management through budgeting and forecasting. The role demands 15 years in operations with strong leadership and M&E expertise.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Building, Facilities Management or related field.

Job description

We are recruiting for a real estate platform who is looking to grow their portfolio particularly in retail properties and am seeking a Head of Operations to join them.

Reporting to the MD, you will oversee and ensure the effective operation of the facilities at retail malls. You will be leading the operation teams, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.

You will provide strategic direction and leadership to all operations teams across the company’s portfolio, including property management and site operations. You will ensure optimal performance, high service standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will review, improvise/develop and implement operational policies, SOPs, and best practices for efficient operations of company’s properties. You will drive operational efficiency and cost management initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.

You will monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. You will lead crisis management and business continuity planning across all sites and also supporting asset enhancement initiatives (AEIs), upgrading projects, and taking over of new properties from an operational perspective.

Requirements

• You possess a Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), Building, Facilities Management, or related fields. You have strong M&E knowledge and comes with 15 years of experience in operations or facilities management, preferably in retail malls or commercial buildings. Prior experience in a leadership capacity is essential.
• You possess strong leadership, people management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• You are someone with a sense of urgency, work within tight timelines, and is resourceful and systematic in resolving problems.
