Job summary

The Singapore Public Service, through the Place Management and Operations Division, seeks an Assistant Director to lead operations planning and monitoring, translate priorities into actionable plans, and oversee performance across PMOD. You will drive forward planning, sensing and contingency capabilities using data and AI, refine CONOPS, and build integrated dashboards for timely decisions.

The role requires at least 6 years’ experience, strong analytical and stakeholder skills, and willingness

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in operations planning, operations management and emergency preparedness.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into actionable actions.
• Excellent project and stakeholder management with ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and teams.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team for operations planning, performance monitoring and readiness within PMOD.
• Translate divisional priorities into operational plans and an integrated view of performance, risks and developments.
• Drive forward planning, sensing, horizon scanning and contingency planning with data, AI and technology.
• Refine CONOPS and translate policies into practical guidelines and escalation protocols.
• Develop indicators, dashboards and reporting to provide an integrated view of operations.
