Job summary

RAMA'S CURRY PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Chief Cook to lead our kitchen and shape the menu in Singapore. You will oversee daily operations, plan menus that consider guest preferences and ingredient availability, and manage the kitchen budget.

You will train and supervise staff from sous chefs to line cooks, ensure food safety, and collaborate with front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Ongoing learning and adaptation to trends are expected.

Qualifications

• Extensive training in all aspects of food preparation.
• Experience in professional kitchens with leadership roles.
• Proven track record as a chef and menu contributor.
• Strong leadership, communication and team management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement the restaurant's menu considering guest preferences and ingredient availability.
• Manage daily kitchen operations including scheduling, ordering, and budgeting.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff from sous chefs to dishwashers and ensure food safety.
• Coordinate with front-of-house and management to ensure smooth service.
• Stay current with culinary trends and techniques through classes, workshops, and research.
