Job summary

RAMA'S CURRY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Chief Cook to lead menu development and kitchen operations. You will plan dishes, supervise staff, manage procurement, and ensure high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate with front-of-house and management, train team members, and stay updated on culinary trends to drive quality and consistency across the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement the restaurant menu.

• Manage daily kitchen operations: schedule staff, order supplies, and budget.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff including sous chefs, line cooks and dishwashers.
• Ensure staff adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Coordinate with front-of-house and management to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Stay current with culinary trends by attending classes, workshops, and researching new recipes/equipment.
