Job summary

GRILLS N' WOK PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Restaurant Manager/Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations of a Halal restaurant. The role requires deep Halal knowledge, strong leadership, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

You will lead Front of House operations, train staff on Halal guidelines, work with suppliers for Halal ingredients, ensure MUIS compliance, and uphold health and safety standards while providing excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a restaurant or F&B operations.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Familiarity with MUIS Halal standards and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Front of House operations, uphold Halal standards.
• Train and supervise staff to ensure Halal compliance and exceptional service.
• Source Halal-certified ingredients with suppliers while maintaining trust.
• Oversee food preparation and serving to strictly follow MUIS halal rules.
• Enforce MUIS halal policies and drive continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on halal industry trends and MUIS regulations.
• Manage day-to-day store operations for smooth service.
• Provide excellent customer service: greet, take orders, handle transactions.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Supervise cash handling; train crew on food prep, service and safety.
• Maintain health, safety, cleanliness and hygiene.
