AL MAJLIS FOODS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Chief Chef to lead kitchen operations across Thai Muslim seafood, Western cuisine, chicken rice, and Indian dishes. You will oversee purchases, budgeting, and inventory control while ensuring high standards of quality and halal compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive halal restaurant experience, and the ability to work rotating shifts up to 3am, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the relevant field.
• No strict basic education required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in HALAL restaurant operations.
• MUIS HALAL training will be an added advantage.
• Willing to work overtime whenever required.
• Open for all weekends and public holidays.
• Willing to work with rotating off days.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations for Thai Muslim seafood, Western, chicken rice and Indian cuisine.
• Oversee purchasing and storekeeping.
• Manage budgeting and cost control for the department.
• Supervise manpower and scheduling in the kitchen.
• Maintain food hygiene, cleanliness and quality standards.
• Ensure MUIS HALAL requirements are strictly followed.
