Greenwood Fish Market is seeking a friendly Hostess to greet guests, seat them, and manage reservations with a professional demeanor. You will help maintain a clean dining area and coordinate with waitstaff to ensure smooth flow during peak periods.

Responsibilities include handling the reservation system, guiding guests, and supporting bussing and sanitising tasks as needed. A positive, multitasking attitude and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Hostess or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide warm and friendly service to guests.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail.
• A friendly and professional demeanour, with the ability to remain calm and composed in a busy restaurant environment.
• Basic computer skills, with experience using reservation systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive and seat them at their tables.
• Manage the restaurant's reservation system and take phone calls to book tables.
• Ensure the dining room is clean and well-presented, with all tables set and ready for guests.
• Manage the flow of guests in and out to ensure efficient service by waitstaff.
• Assist with managing the waitlist and communicating wait times to guests.
• Assist with general operations, including bussing tables and sanitising.
