Job summary

Oak & Ember Pte Ltd in Loyang is seeking a friendly frontline team member to join our cosy smoked meat restaurant. You will greet guests, assist with table QR ordering, take orders, handle payments, upsell items and ensure timely service in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include setting up stations, serving drinks and food, maintaining cleanliness, and attending to guests with enquiries to enhance the dine-in experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in similar role preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic hygiene and safety consciousness.
• Positive working attitude.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drinks according to recipe
• Greet guests upon their arrival and advise on table QR code ordering
• Assist guests with baby chair and/or wheelchair requirements
• Take order over the counter and handle payment collection
• Upsell additional items to increase revenue and enhance guests’ experience
• Serve drink and food orders promptly and accurately
• Cleaning and setting tables in preparation for new guests
• Set-up and clearing of restaurant before and after service, depending on shift assigned
• Prepare and replenish stations before shift starts
• Maintenance of restaurant cleanliness and workstations
• Perform opening duties and closing duties as per SOP
• Attend to guests with their requests promptly and check on guests overall dine-in experience
• Assisting with basic food preparation tasks, such as assembling salads or desserts, as needed
• Assist guests with enquiries and recommend dishes based on preferences and menu offerings
• Ad-hoc duties assigned by manager on duty
