Job summary

Shopee Singapore Private Limited is seeking an entrepreneurial and analytical professional for its SG Business Development team to drive strategic growth initiatives, identify opportunities, and deliver revenue and profitability growth for Shopee’s retail business in Singapore.

The role will focus on developing strategies, sizing opportunities, and steering end-to-end projects from concept to business case realization, with materials prepared for senior stakeholders to enable timely decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree advantageous but not required.
• Experience in strategy, consulting, or related roles.
• Exposure to consumer, retail, e-commerce is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and data-to-decision mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue and profitability across Shopee Singapore’s businesses, in alignment with business priorities
• Drive commercial growth and profitability initiatives across relevant categories and business areas
• Structure ambiguous business problems through opportunity sizing, benchmarking, analysis, and scalable strategy development
• Deliver end-to-end strategic projects, from development and implementation to business case realisation
• Develop materials for senior stakeholders to support timely and effective communication
