Job summary

Manulife Singapore is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategy & Growth to shape bancassurance growth by identifying strategic opportunities across bank partnerships and building investment-ready business cases. You will influence senior stakeholders and mobilise initiatives across functions.

The role requires strong analytical and financial-modelling skills, with experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy within financial services.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business development, commercial strategy or strategic partnerships, preferably within banking, insurance, wealth management or broader financial services.
• Demonstrated experience conducting market analysis, evaluating growth opportunities and developing business or investment cases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and financial-modelling capability.
• Ability to convert complex information into clear insights, recommendations and executive-level materials.
• Proven ability to work across multiple functions and influence stakeholders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage the Horizon 2 and 3 bancassurance growth pipeline across customer segments, channels, products and partnerships.
• Conduct market, customer and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and threats; translate into strategic implications.
• Develop strategic options, investment-ready business cases and validate assumptions with Finance, Product, Distribution and Analytics teams.
• Assist in developing partnership strategies, segment priorities and strategic roadmaps; prepare concise senior-level materials.
• Translate priorities into defined initiatives and track progress with cross-functional teams.
