Job summary

Manulife Singapore is seeking a senior strategist to lead the forward-looking bancassurance strategy and shape next-phase banca partnerships, aligning with Retail, Wealth, Private Bank, SME and Digital channels.

You will define multi-year priorities, identify growth opportunities, translate intelligence into actionable options, and partner with senior leaders to drive execution across the organization. This role offers a high-impact pathway within a global financial services leader.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business development or strategic partnerships.
• Demonstrated experience developing growth strategies, evaluating strategic opportunities and building investment cases.
• Strong commercial judgement, analytical capability and executive communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and work across complex organisational and partnership boundaries.
• Experience leading and developing a small, high-performing strategy team, e.g., as a consulting EM/PL or equivalent strategy leader.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of multi-year banca partnership strategy across Retail, Wealth, Private Bank, SME and Digital.
• Identify new sources of growth and align with annual planning and enterprise priorities.
• Establish a systematic view of market needs, trends, and competitor activity; translate into strategic actions.
• Shape senior partner strategic agendas and deepen commercial, customer, digital and operating-model interdependence.
• Present clear strategic choices to senior stakeholders and move priorities into execution with Transformation.
