Job summary

Surbana Jurong Group is seeking a Green Mark Manager to support Employer Representatives at sites, driving energy-saving and sustainability initiatives aligned with GreenGov and Green Mark standards.

The role involves energy audits, data logging, and reviewing M&E designs to identify opportunities and cost-effective measures with compelling implementation plans.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in energy management and sustainability initiatives.
  • Experience conducting energy audits and evaluating energy performance.
  • Ability to analyse energy data to identify inefficiencies and wastage.
  • Familiarity with Green Mark requirements and related certifications.
  • Project experience with Green Mark initiatives is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Employer Representatives in implementing energy-saving and sustainability initiatives in line with GreenGov and Green Mark requirements.
  • Conduct preliminary energy audits and assess the energy performance of existing facility equipment and systems.
  • Analyse historical energy consumption and cost data to identify energy usage patterns, inefficiencies, and potential energy wastage.
  • Conduct data logging and sampling of major energy-consuming systems (air-conditioning, MV, data centres).
  • Review M&E specifications, as-built drawings, equipment performance and operating conditions.
  • Identify energy-saving opportunities and recommend suitable energy conservation measures.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit assessments for proposed energy-saving initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations on energy optimisation and quality electricity supply to improve energy efficiency and cost savings.
  • Prepare annual audit reports covering observations, recommended solutions, and estimated implementation costs.

Summary

The Green Mark Manager is to assist the Employer Representatives at sites in identifying and implementing energy saving as well as sustainability initiatives in line with Greengov movement, including to advise and recommend on suitable Green Mark initiatives.

  • Analyse historical energy consumption and cost data to identify energy usage patterns, inefficiencies, and potential energy wastage.
  • Conduct data logging and sampling of major energy-consuming systems, including air-conditioning, mechanical ventilation, and data centre systems.
  • Review M&E specifications, as-built drawings, equipment performance, and operating conditions.
  • Identify energy-saving opportunities and recommend suitable energy conservation measures.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit assessments for proposed energy-saving initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations on energy optimisation and quality electricity supply to improve energy efficiency and cost savings.
  • Prepare annual audit reports covering observations, recommended solutions, and estimated implementation costs.
Requirements
  • Green Mark Advanced Professional (GMAP) or Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAAP) certification. Minimum 3 years of relevant Green Mark project experience.
  • Successful completion of the required Green Mark accreditation requirements.
  • Experience in energy management, sustainability initiatives, energy audits, and Green Mark-related projects will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of energy efficiency, building systems, and sustainability practices.
