Job summary

Astek is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to manage BAU operations, governance, and continuous improvement for a government portal in Singapore. You will collaborate with business users, IT teams, vendors, and GovTech to ensure reliable service delivery and informed decision-making.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, stakeholder management, and experience with IT project delivery within a government context.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of experience in Business Analysis, IT project delivery, and BAU support.
Experience in Singapore Government agency projects as Project Manager or BA/PM.
Strong analytical and stakeholder management capabilities.
Experience managing vendors and SLA-driven service delivery.
Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day BAU operations to maintain system availability, performance, and reliability.
Serve as the key liaison for business users on incidents, service requests, system issues, and enhancement requirements.
Prioritise and track incidents, service requests, and change requests in accordance with SLAs.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and coordinate issue resolution with IT teams, vendors, and GovTech.
Gather and analyse business requirements for system enhancements and translate them into clear functional requirements.
Coordinate testing, releases, and deployment activities for system enhancements and changes.
Maintain data quality and integrity while supporting reporting and analytics for operational insights.
Ensure system operations comply with governance policies, data protection requirements, and PDPA.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve system functionality and user experience.
