Job summary

JOBSTER PRIVATE LTD. is seeking an IT governance and data quality specialist to oversee day-to-day BAU operations, coordinate with government agencies, and enforce data protection policies.

You will work across IT teams and vendors, drive improvements, and support releases with requirements analysis, testing, and deployment coordination. The role requires strong analytical skills, governance experience, and hands-on frontend development knowledge in ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3, to

Qualifications

• Experience enforcing governance and data protection policies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills preferred.
• Proficient in requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day BAU operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Act as the primary contact for business users on system issues, service requests, and enhancements.
• Manage and prioritise incidents, service requests, and change requests in accordance with SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive resolution with IT teams, vendors, and Government Technology Agency.
• Knowledge of WoG tools such as ApplySG, Ogre/Opus, Optical CMS is an added advantage.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and proper usage across the system.
• Recommend continuous improvements.
• Enforce governance and compliance with relevant policies.
• Ensure adherence to data protection under the Personal Data Protection Act.
• Support enhancements and releases, including requirement analysis, testing, and deployment coordination.
• Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
• Drive data quality, reporting, and analytics to support policy-making and operational insights.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills are preferred.
• Ability to manage vendors and support service delivery in an SLA-driven environment is preferred.
• Proficiency with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Candidate must have independently managed IT projects within a government agency as a project manager or in a dual role as business analyst/project manager.
• Proficient in frontend web development using ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3, collaborating with business users, UX designers and developers to deliver responsive, accessible web applications.

Job description

i. Oversee day-to-day BAU operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability

ii. Act as the primary point of contact for business users on system issues, service requests, and enhancements

iii. Manage and prioritise incidents, service requests, and change requests in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs)

iv. Perform root cause analysis and drive resolution of system issues in collaboration with IT teams, vendors, and Government Technology Agency
