Job summary

TP ICAP Singapore is seeking a highly capable Support Engineer to ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of a complex global trading platform. You will monitor system health, investigate incidents, and collaborate with multi-region teams to maintain seamless daily operations in a fast-moving environment.

The role requires hands-on technical skills, strong operational discipline, and an ongoing shift toward an SRE-aligned support model with automation and observability at the core.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• Strong AWS operational knowledge and regional failover understanding.
• Experience supporting business-critical front/mid office applications.
• Deep knowledge of market data flows, instrument definitions, pricing mechanisms, and session-based connectivity.
• Ability to interpret complex application logs and diagnose backend issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve escalated production issues using structured troubleshooting, log analysis, and system behaviour diagnostics.
• Monitor the health and performance of global trading applications, responding to alerts and incidents across regions.
• Support Start of Day, End of Day processes and environment readiness for global trading cycles.
• Maintain and improve monitoring, dashboards, and alerting for better visibility and decision-making.
• Participate in change and release activities including deployment support, validation, and post-change review.
• Coordinate and support major incidents with clear triage and controlled recovery.
• Analyze recurring incidents to identify systemic issues and long-term reliability improvements.
• Contribute to evolution toward an SRE-aligned operating model with automation and resilience focus.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual operational effort via tooling and process improvements.
• Participate in post-incident reviews with blameless root cause analysis.
