Job summary

ADVANTEST (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Product Support Engineer to support semiconductor test equipment projects in Singapore. You will work with cross-functional and cross-regional teams to ensure successful customer project execution at OSAT sites.

Responsibilities include serving as a technical liaison, monitoring field performance, mentoring field service staff, troubleshooting, and developing end-user documentation and training. Travel to customer sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is required.
• 3-5 years of related work experience.
• Must possess excellent analytical skills.
• Proficient with Mechanical Assembly, Electrical wiring, and Troubleshooting.
• Strong technical experience with test and measurement equipment, electrical or automation systems.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial computer systems, network architectures, and diagnosing anomalies.
• Strong English and Mandarin communication skills for international meetings and stakeholders.
• Domestic and international travel is required (10%–60%).
• Overseas travel required (Taiwan, Malaysia, US) Up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Provide support services for ATS’ line of Test Systems according to established standards and procedures.
• Serve as technical liaison for customers, suppliers, applications users and other technical personnel.
• Monitor field performance and develop analytics aligned with business needs.
• Mentor and support Field Service Group personnel.
• Troubleshoot and define diagnostic parameters to identify root causes.
• Travel to customer locations for repair, troubleshooting and system installation; author incident reports as needed.
• Develop end-user documentation and technical training for internal staff.
• Write and execute test plans for system-level diagnostics.
• Build cross-functional relationships to support project assignments and priorities.
• Incorporate field data into prioritization of work and manage projects to deliver high-caliber results.
• Remain informed on high-priority engineering projects and contribute as needed.
