Job summary

TikTok is expanding its Regulatory Compliance team to partner with business, legal and compliance teams to implement and deliver content and safety regulations. You will manage large-scale regulatory programs and drive continuous improvement across multiple departments.

The role requires strategic thinking, operational excellence, and strong communication with executive leadership to surface risks and shape compliance priorities across time zones.

Qualifications

• Proven program management experience leading cross-functional programs end to end.
• Deep understanding of global regulatory frameworks such as DSA, Online Safety Act, and APAC regulations.
• Track record coordinating across regions to plan and execute strategic initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for risk assessments and decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with executive leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale regulatory and legal obligations programs from scoping to completion.
• Plan and execute initiatives for forthcoming regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate resources across Trust & Safety and other functions to ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee ongoing obligations, maintain issue logs, and conduct gap analyses.
• Ensure timely delivery of information for RFIs and regulatory interactions.
• Develop controls and assurance infrastructure with Legal and Compliance teams.
• Implement and monitor recommendations from audits and risk assessments.
• Develop scalable compliance frameworks addressing current and emerging challenges.
• Bridge gaps between internal teams to ensure aligned compliance standards.
• Regularly update executive leadership on status, risks, and priorities.
