Job summary

Hamilton Lane is seeking an Associate, Secondaries to evaluate global private equity secondary investments with a focus on Asia. You will model, analyze, and prepare memoranda, while engaging in due diligence and market research.

The role offers exposure to private equity direct and co-investments, collaboration with a global team, and potential travel. A background in PE or related fields and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate M&A, capital markets or valuation services.
• Interest in learning and applying AI tools to support research and analysis.
• Ability to perform complex financial analysis and write clear memoranda.

Responsibilities

• Lead modeling and analysis of private equity secondary and direct transactions.
• Prepare investment memoranda for Investment Committee.
• Analyze companies and funds using LBO models and comps; develop scenarios.
• Conduct due diligence calls and participate in meetings with GPs.
• Monitor investments and assist in client marketing materials.
• Support senior team in originating new opportunities and networking.
