Job summary

Empower Partners Singapore partners with a leading private markets investment firm to hire a Private Equity Associate to support its investment activities across private equity secondaries and fund investments.

You will evaluate opportunities, conduct financial analysis and due diligence, prepare memoranda and models, and work with internal and external stakeholders through the investment process in a fast-paced environment in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years experience in private equity, investment banking, transaction services, fund investments or related role.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with private equity fund structures and secondary transactions is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and execute investment opportunities across private equity funds, secondary transactions and other private markets strategies.
• Conduct financial analysis, valuation and investment modelling to assess opportunities.
• Analyse fund performance, portfolio company fundamentals, market trends and risks.
• Prepare investment memoranda, financial models and presentations for investment committee discussions.
• Conduct research on private equity managers, portfolio companies and relevant industry sectors.
• Monitor existing investments and prepare portfolio performance updates and reporting.
• Work closely with internal investment professionals and external stakeholders throughout the investment process.
