Job summary

CGS International Securities Pte. Ltd. is seeking a commercially driven Manager/Associate Director, Private Equity Fund, to join our Asset Management team in Southeast Asia.

The incumbent will originate, evaluate, and execute private equity investments, and manage portfolio companies to drive value creation. The role involves leading investment transactions, conducting due diligence, coordinating with external advisors, and supporting successful exit strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• MBA, CFA, or other professional investment qualifications are advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, management consulting, venture capital, or asset management.
• For Associate Director, a track record of leading transactions end-to-end is expected.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and investment analysis abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Mandarin proficiency is advantageous for cross-border dealings.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate investment opportunities across Southeast Asia.
• Lead transaction execution, including valuation, modeling, deal structuring, negotiations.
• Prepare investment papers for Investment Committee.
• Conduct detailed financial, commercial, operational, and strategic due diligence.
• Monitor portfolio performance and drive value creation with management teams.
• Support exit strategies and investor reporting.
