Job summary

ByteDance's Global Payment data team seeks a data professional to join the Data Intelligence group. You will work on dataflow construction for ByteDance's global payments, sinking into hundreds of billions of events daily to keep our platform accurate and fast.

You will collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into data solutions, apply governance practices, and leverage open-source tools to deliver reliable analytics and insights that improve risk management and user

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or above in CS/Statistics/Math or related majors.
Familiar with Linux OS and development environment.
Solid computer fundamentals (data structures, operating systems, etc.).
Proficient in any one programming language such as C/C++, Java, Python.
Sensitive to data, meticulous and conscientious, with the ability to identify problems from data.

Responsibilities

Manage data flow and data service construction for ByteDance's global payment.
Address ultra-large-scale data issues, processing hundreds of billions of incremental user data daily.
Real-time transmission, cleaning, conversion and calculation of streaming data, with efficient external queries.
Participate in data governance to improve data usability and quality.
Understand business requirements, leverage data value, and cooperate with business teams.
