Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a Senior Specialist–Risk Operations to own the risk workflows across payment and business scenarios, handling customer complaints, appeals, and disputes. You will partner with Risk Strategy, Product, Engineering, Customer Service, and external partners to remove bottlenecks and improve the customer journey.

The role requires leading end-to-end diagnosis of complex issues within a specific business domain, with a 5-day onsite work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in business, finance, statistics, data analytics, engineering, or related field.
• Over 3 years of experience in fintech, e-commerce, or payment-related companies.
• Proficient in English (oral and written) for cross-regional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own risk operations workflows across payment and business scenarios, including customer complaints, appeals, and disputes.
• Monitor quality and efficiency; ensure consistent execution across internal teams, BPO agents, and AI agents.
• Partner with Risk Strategy, Product, Engineering, Customer Service and external payment partners to resolve bottlenecks and improve customer experience.
• Design and roll out operations processes to support expansion with new payment products and risk touchpoints.
• Act as operational point of contact for assigned business domain; lead end-to-end diagnosis of complex issues and drive cross-functional improvements.
