Job summary

Dimerco Express Group is seeking a driven Sales/Account Manager in Singapore to grow an existing customer portfolio in freight forwarding and logistics. You will build strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers to drive retention and revenue.

Responsibilities include identifying upsell opportunities, handling inquiries, negotiating quotes, coordinating with Operations, and producing regular forecasts.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of sales or business development experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or ocean freight.
• Knowledge of ocean freight operations, shipping processes, and international trade will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong customer relationship management and business development skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow assigned existing customer accounts to hit sales targets.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and key decision-makers to ensure customer retention and business growth.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
• Handle customer enquiries, pricing requests, and service-related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and close sales opportunities from assigned accounts and incoming leads.
• Work closely with Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor account performance, market trends, and customer shipping patterns to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and account updates for management review.
• Ensure timely collection of accounts receivables in accordance with credit terms.
• Participate in sales meetings and contribute to account planning and business strategies.
