Job summary

Future Technology Devices International Limited Singapore Branch is seeking an IT lead to guide the team and provide hands-on support with emphasis on cybersecurity and AI-related security.

You will manage IT assets, onboarding/offboarding, system setup, and 1st-line support for staff worldwide, including Mandarin-speaking associates. The role requires strong governance knowledge and regional coordination.

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT related discipline with at least 5 to 7 years relevant experience.
• Hands-on IT support working experience including Desktop/Laptop support, Printer, Lan/Wan, Router, Switches, Firewall Support.
• MCSE in Windows Server and RHCSA in Linux server or equivalent hands-on working experience.
• CGEIT preferred or IT governance working experience in IT policy or security.
• International IT project management experience.
• People Management experience. Able to provide technical guidance to Juniors
• SAP working experience good to have;
• Able to remotely support regional IT issue (CN, TW, US, UK), Both English and Mandarin read and write required;
• Good negotiation/communication skill with IT contractor or external IT supplier.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT support operations and guide daily activities across the company.
• IT asset management with traceability for hardware and software.
• Support HR onboarding/off-boarding with IT training.
• Provide system setup and admin work; file control, VPN, and software admin.
• IT Level 1 helpdesk for staff including remote users worldwide.
• Troubleshoot AD/DC, Microsoft 365, File Server and Application server issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewall, router and switches; escalate to vendors when needed.
• Coordinate with IT vendors for quotations and IT governance proposals.
• Regular system maintenance: backups, storage clean-up, and server monitoring.
• Remote regional support (CN, TW, US, UK) in English and Mandarin.
• Maintain IT records, policies (P&P), BCP/DRP, budgeting and audits.
• Oversee IT projects: planning, deployment, training, and documentation.
