Job summary

Gentco Logistics, a leading chemical logistics provider, seeks a Senior Project Manager to own business applications and data projects end-to-end. You will collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business users across Gentco, driving delivery from requirements to adoption and coaching junior PMs.

The role sits within the Global IT department, overseeing cross-company initiatives (CRM, core platforms) and shaping project management practices, templates, and tooling used by teams in Shanghai,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of project/program management delivering multi-team software or data projects.
• Experience introducing or changing project management practices and tooling.
• Hands-on with Jira, Confluence, Linear, or similar tools.
• Willingness to learn maritime logistics and tanker shipping business models.
• Strong ability to translate business needs to clearly scoped requirements.
• Proven communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences, including senior management.

Responsibilities

• Own projects end-to-end and drive from proposal to delivery, retrospectives, and documentation.
• Lead large cross-company programs (CRM, core platforms) across divisions and offices.
• Overhaul global project management practices, templates, and tooling for multiple hubs.
• Coach junior project managers and product owners on proposals, reporting, and retrospectives.
