Job summary

Prudential plc is seeking a senior leader to oversee Wealth underwriting strategy and governance across global Hubs, including Bermuda and beyond. You will define long-term operating models, establish consistent standards, and ensure practices align with risk appetite and regulatory expectations across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 18+ years in life insurance underwriting with 10+ years in HNW/complex underwriting.
• Proven leadership of specialist underwriting teams across multiple markets.
• Strong technical expertise in HNW underwriting, complex claims adjudication, wealth products.
• Experience with reinsurers on facultative underwriting and product development.
• Excellent stakeholder management with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own Wealth underwriting strategy and governance for global hubs.
• Set globally consistent underwriting standards and authority limits.
• Lead technically for complex HNW cases; advise on difficult adjudications.
• Oversee risk framework, QA, and governance across Wealth hubs.
• Drive process innovation and digital enablement in underwriting.
• Manage relationships with Distribution, Product, Operations, Risk and Compliance.
• Coach and build a high-performing Wealth underwriting team.
