Job summary

LAM RESEARCH SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking an on-site field service engineer to provide quality repair and preventive maintenance for etch, cleaning, and deposition equipment at customer sites. Responsibilities include installation, relocation, start-up, and check-out activities, along with troubleshooting and coordination with customers to minimize downtime.

The role requires an engineering degree or equivalent, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a Fab environment with shift

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Good communication and interpersonal relations skill.
• Able to actively engage customers on technical solutions.
• Able to work in Fab environment and perform shift & standby duties.
• Must be able to wear personal protective clothing including air respirator, clean room garments and safety shoes.
• Willing to support short term, overseas assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality repair and preventive maintenance service of etch/clean/deposition equipment at customer sites.
• Install and relocate equipment at customers' sites; perform start-up and check-out activities.
• Coordinate all service actions with customers to minimize downtime.
• Apply troubleshooting techniques to eliminate equipment malfunctions and diagnose issues.
• Prepare and maintain logs, service records, and diagnostic updates.
• Professionally represent the company to customers and maintain good relations.
