Job summary

LAM RESEARCH SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install and relocate complex semiconductor equipment at customer sites and to perform startup and check-out activities. The role involves on-site preventive maintenance and rapid fault resolution to minimize downtime.

Applicants should hold a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, be able to work in a clean room environment with PPE, and travel frequently to support customers both locally and internationally.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Recent polytechnic graduates are welcome to apply.
• Able to work in a clean room environment with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Install and relocate Lam's complex systems at customers’ sites and perform start-up, cutover and check-out activities.
• Minimize downtime through on-site preventive maintenance and attend to equipment abnormalities.
• Use analytical problem-solving methods to isolate issues to the component level and reduce downtime.
• Provide pass-down information to stakeholders to ensure continuity of customer support operations.
• Provide hardware support for Tier 2 process qualification activities.
• Keep equipment and tools in good working condition and secure.
• Take on ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor.
