Job summary

Lam Research in Singapore seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, relocate and service Lam etch, clean and deposition equipment at customer sites. You will perform start-up, preventive maintenance, warranty support, and on-site troubleshooting to minimize downtime and ensure client satisfaction.

You will travel frequently, including overseas assignments, work varied shifts, and document service records while upholding Lam's safety standards and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field; 3+ years experience or advanced degree without experience.
• Graduate eligible role with willingness to travel overseas.
• Able to work independently and learn quickly.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and relocate equipment at customers’ sites including start-up and checkout.
• Provide warranty or paid service, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate actions with customers.
• Troubleshoot to isolate faults and take corrective actions, replacing parts as needed.
• Implement ECOs and perform field modifications as released by Engineering.
• Maintain logs, service records, and diagnostic updates.
• Represent Lam professionally and maintain good customer relations.
• Travel domestically and internationally and support varying shifts including on-call.
• Keep equipment and tools in good working condition and secure.
