Job summary

Lam Research in Singapore is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, repair, and maintain Lam etch, clean, and deposition equipment at customer sites. You’ll operate on-site with on-call support and occasional travel to regional sites.

In this graduate-eligible role, you’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot, perform startup activities, and ensure equipment uptime. Strong communication and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with no or minimal professional experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to support short-term overseas assignments and travel.

Responsibilities

• Install and relocate equipment at customer sites and perform startup/checkout activities.
• Provide on-site preventive maintenance and diagnose equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate service actions with customers and document service activities.
• Implement field modifications per ECOs and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Develop good customer relations and represent the company professionally.
• Be prepared for 24/7 on-call standby and varying shifts as needed.
