Job summary

Nomura is seeking an experienced compensation/HR analytics professional in Singapore to partner with HR and leadership on advisory, benchmarking, and annual reviews. The role covers IWM/Private Banking, cross-divisional analytics in Asia ex.

Japan, and global projects on compensation standards and innovation. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in compensation or HR analytics within financial services, strong Excel skills, and experience with data visualization and HR platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a compensation, reward, or HR analytics function within financial services or a multinational organisation.
• Commercial awareness of financial services compensation structures, including both variable and fixed pay, in a global matrixed setup.
• Proven experience delivering a front-to-back year-end compensation process with bonus modelling and salary review.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR Business Partners and divisional leadership to deliver compensation advisory, benchmarking, and annual review support.
• Manage the year-end compensation cycle for IWM, including bonus modelling, salary review, and pool tree management.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking, job matching, and survey analysis using market data providers to evaluate fixed pay ranges and total compensation.
• Provide cross-divisional compensation analytics and advisory support across Asia ex. Japan.
• Support AEJ Remuneration Committee materials, including governance reporting and policy documentation.
• Liaise with Finance, HR, Business Managers, and Strategy to deliver people analytics and insights.
• Collaborate with Group Head of Reward on firm-wide compensation projects, standards, and innovation.
• Drive innovation in compensation and analytics practices across the Group Reward function.
• Provide accurate HR data and analysis to support budgeting, headcount planning, and HR metrics.
