Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified professional for the development of new manufacturing processes and lean practices. The role involves designing tools and fixtures using AutoCAD and CNC programming, operating advanced furnaces and waterjet machinery, and supporting staff training on manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will participate in cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives. Working hours are Monday to Saturday, 0800 AM to 0530 PM.

Responsibilities

• Development of new manufacturing processes and lean manufacturing practices.
• Design tools and fixtures with AutoCAD and CNC programming.
• Operation of high tech Vacuum and SinterHIP furnaces, CNC and Precision Waterjet.
• Support the training of staff and line operators on manufacturing processes.
• Deployment of design of Experiment and statistical control for key processes.
• Develop and execute process validation plans and proper documentation control.
• Participate in cost reduction, quality improvement, safety awareness and other activities for continual improvement.
