Our client is an established global logistics and supply chain solutions provider seeking an experienced General Manager, Operations to oversee its contract logistics operations in Singapore.

The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership across major warehouse facilities, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for major contract logistics and warehouse operations, ensuring operational efficiency, safety compliance and service excellence.
• Take full P&L responsibility for assigned facilities, managing operational costs, resource allocation and revenue performance to achieve business targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs), customer satisfaction and effective stakeholder engagement.
• Lead regular Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBR/QBR) with key customers, presenting operational performance, improvement initiatives and business results.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Six Sigma and other operational excellence methodologies to enhance productivity and eliminate operational inefficiencies.
• Spearhead the implementation and integration of warehouse technologies, automation, robotics and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Develop and lead a high-performing workforce through talent development, succession planning and employee engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, Ministry of Manpower (MOM) requirements and internal corporate governance standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 8-10 years of progressive management experience within the 3PL / Contract Logistics industry.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior site leadership or operations management role.
• Proven experience managing large operational teams of more than 100 employees within complex and fast-paced warehouse environments.
• Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience managing multi-million-dollar operational budgets and full P&L responsibilities.
• Solid knowledge of 3PL operations, Lean Six Sigma methodologies and inventory management optimisation.
• Strong customer relationship management, stakeholder engagement and commercial negotiation skills.
• Proficient in enterprise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), such as SAP, Blue Yonder or Manhattan, as well as data analytics tools such as Power BI.
