Job summary

Mitsui-Soko (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Freight and Forwarding Assistant to support daily shipping operations in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will coordinate documents, prepare HBL/MBL, monitor vessel movements and liaise with transport and warehouse teams.

The role requires basic NVO documentation knowledge, at least 1 year in logistics, and a proactive attitude. Overtime flexibility and independence are valued in Pioneer area.

Qualifications

• O level/Professional Certificate/NiTEC required.
• Computer literate.
• Basic understanding of NVO operation and documentation preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse/logistics.
• Initiative and willingness to learn.
• Able to work independently and with attention to detail.
• Willing to work in Pioneer area.
• Able to commit to overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping documents and instructions from customers.
• Prepare HBL & MBL.
• Monitor vessel movement and finalize release of HBL to customer.
• Send pre-alert documents to destination office.
• Coordinate with transport contractor to pick up empty container.
• Coordinate with warehouse for stuffing of container.
• Verify contractor invoices and billing to customer.
• Perform other routine shipment coordination and documentation duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
