Job summary

EA Recruitment Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Freight Forwarding Coordinator at HarbourFront, Singapore. You will arrange shipments by sea, air and land, secure necessary permits, and coordinate with contractors and overseas offices to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a Diploma in Business Administration or Logistics management and 2–4 years of freight forwarding experience, with AWS and a variable bonus. Working hours are Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:30pm, in a well‑established German MNC environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Administration / Logistics management or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in freight forwarding.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and coordinate shipments by sea, air or land.
• Apply the necessary customs permits.
• Liaise with contractors on timely collection and delivery of cargoes in Singapore.
• Liaise with respective overseas offices and agents.
• Attend site meetings, surveys & loadouts as required.
• Acknowledge incoming invoices and raise invoices to customers for payment.
• Update and operate the Operations System (BLU).
• Update the tracking and tracing tools when in place for respective project.
• Prepare quotations to clients, other office or agents.
• Request and negotiate ad-hoc quotations from approved carriers, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure quality service at the best possible rate.
• Ensure all clients requests are shared with the Operations Manager or Project Manager.
