Job summary

EA Recruitment Pte Ltd is sourcing a Freight Forwarding Operations Coordinator for a well established German MNC in Singapore. Based at Harbourfront, you will coordinate shipments by sea/air/land and liaise with overseas offices to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires a Diploma in Business Administration or Logistics and 2–4 years in freight forwarding; AWS + variable bonus and strong welfare are offered in a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Administration / Logistics management or equivalent.
• 2 - 4 years of working experience in freight forwarding industry.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and coordinate shipments by sea, air or land.
• Apply the necessary customs permits.
• Liaise with contractors on timely collection and delivery of cargoes in Singapore.
• Liaise with respective overseas offices and agents.
• Attending to site meetings, surveys & loadouts as and when required.
• Acknowledge incoming invoices and raise invoices to customers for payment.
• Update and operate the Operations System (BLU).
• Update the tracking and tracing tools when in place for respective project.
• Prepare quotations to clients, other office or agents.
• Request and negotiate ad-hoc quotations from approved carriers, supplier and sub-contractor to ensure quality service at the best possible rate.
• Ensure all clients requests are shared with the Operations Manager or Project Manager.
