Job summary

MANNA POT CATERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a kitchen assistant to follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards as set by the Head Chef.

You will help ensure all kitchen areas and equipment are clean and sanitized, and that food processing complies with hygiene and sanitation regulations.

Assist in planning menus with the Head Chef, strictly minimize waste and theft, operate cleaning devices safely, and perform any other duties as directed by the Head Chef or Executive Chef.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specs.
• Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are clean and sanitized.
• Adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards per regulations.
• Assist in planning menus with Head Chef/Executive Chef.
• Strictly minimize food and supply waste and theft.
• Performs any other duties as directed by the Head Chef and / or Executive Chef.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned from time to time.

Job description

• Ensure that all food is processed according to the corporate and government regulatory control in hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Ensure the safe operation of all cleaning equipment and report any faulty equipment to the Head.
• Assist in planning of menus and recipes with the Head Chef and/ or Executive Chef.
• Strictly adhere to minimize food and supply waste and theft.
• Performs any other duties as directed by the Head Chef and / or Executive Chef.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned from time to time.
