Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd is seeking a Food Service Assistant to support school cookery lessons in Singapore. The role involves preparing crockery and ingredients, distributing items to students, and maintaining clean work areas.

The ideal candidate holds a GCE N-Level and a WSQ Food Safety certification, with at least 1 year of food-handling experience. This contract runs for 10 months with extension options and daily hours from 7:30am to 4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE N-Level qualification and ability to understand instructions.
• WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1+ certification throughout the contract period.
• Knowledge of food preparation and safety.
• At least 1 year of relevant food-handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with preparing crockery and ingredients for cookery lessons.
• Distribute crockery and ingredients to students during lessons.
• Clean and properly store equipment and crockery after lessons.
• Keep tables and floors clean after each lesson and at the end of the day.

Duration/Working Hours:

10 months - subj to an extension of 2 further period of 9 months(4 Jan 2027 to 29 Oct 2027)

Option Year 1: 3 Jan 2028 – 27 Oct 2028

Option Year 2: 2 Jan 2029 – 26 Oct 2029

Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

Service not required on:

• Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
• First 3 weeks of June Holidays
• School holidays in November and December
• Youth Day, eve of Teachers' Day, Teachers' Day, eve of National Day, Thanksgiving and Award Presentation Ceremony (TAPC)
