Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support NFS Teachers in a secondary school kitchen setting. You will help ensure food safety and hygiene during culinary lessons, prepare ingredients and equipment, and assist with stocking and inventory for two kitchens.

The role requires PSLE qualification, FSC Level 1, and at least 3 years of relevant experience as an FCE/NFS Kitchen Assistant in a secondary school. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum PSLE qualification.
• Valid WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1 Certificate.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience as an FCE/NFS Kitchen Assistant in a secondary school.
• Basic culinary and mathematical skills.
• Able to communicate confidently in English.
• Independent, responsible and able to work well with others.

Duration/Working hours:

10 months contract (Jan 2027 to Nov 2027)

Mondays to Thursdays: 7.30am to 3.30pm*
Fridays: 7.30am to 12.30pm*
*Daily working duration includes a lunch break of 1 hour
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Working hours are subject to changes. On certain days (fewer
than 10 days in a year), longer working hours up to 6.30pm may
be required.The school will endeavour to provide advance notice
where possible.
