Job summary

Kotuwa in Singapore invites a Service Captain to lead front-of-house with a lively, casual Sri Lankan dining concept. You will guard service quality, guide the team and ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include upselling, maintaining a clean work area, opening/closing procedures, handling guest inquiries, and operating the POS system. At least 2 years FOH experience, good communication, and a customer‑service mindset are required.

Qualifications

• GCE N/O Level or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of FOH experience in F&B.
• Preferably experience in casual dining.
• Able to multitask and work under pressure.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Food Hygiene certificate an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support Restaurant Manager / Assistant Manager in service operations.
• Understand the restaurant concept and act as guardian of service, food and beverages, and team guidance.
• Upsell all items and offer alternatives.
• Keep the work area clean and organized at all times.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the restaurant.
• Handle guest inquiries courteously and report feedback to supervisors.
• Report guest complaints and ensure follow-up with guests.
• Operate the existing POS system as trained.
• Maintain rapport with staff within the restaurant.
• Project a positive and motivated attitude and exercise self-control.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned by Superior.
