Job summary

FUKUYAMA ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Vehicle Fleet Coordinator to manage issuing of vehicles to new drivers and briefings, as well as collection and inspection from leaving drivers.

You will maintain vehicle allocation records, coordinate servicing with the warehousing team, conduct regular inspections, assist drivers with vehicle issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 driving license is required.
• Some knowledge of vehicle maintenance and common issues.
• Familiarity with commercial EV vehicles such as vans is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to respond quickly to breakdowns.
• Organized and detail-oriented with accurate vehicle records.
• Good communication skills to liaise with drivers, workshops and operations staff.
• Basic computer skills for fleet records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage issuing of vehicles to new drivers and briefing & collection/inspection from leaving drivers.
• Maintain records of vehicle allocation, servicing schedules, insurance, road tax, inspection dates and renewals.
• Arrange with warehousing team to schedule servicing/repairs without disrupting operations.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections to check condition and maintenance.
• Assist drivers in troubleshooting vehicle issues (breakdowns, tire, battery, mechanical faults).
• Coordinate roadside assistance, towing and workshop repairs when needed.
• Track mileage and EV charging to support maintenance planning and cost control.
• Ensure vehicles comply with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
