Job summary

COENS ENERGY PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Crewing Manager to oversee end-to-end crewing operations for the fleet, ensuring seafarers meet STCW, flag state, and company requirements while optimizing budgets.

You will coordinate crew changes, screen and select officers and ratings, manage travel, visas, and payroll-related costs, and act as the shore-based contact for crew emergencies and welfare concerns on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

• Requires 2-3 years shore-based experience in maritime crew management.
• Deep understanding of MLC 2006, STCW regulations, flag state requirements, and international maritime labor laws.
• Experience using enterprise crewing systems and maritime ERP software for data management and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute crew changes, rotations, and relief schedules across the fleet.
• Screen, interview, and select maritime officers and ratings.
• Verify STCW documentation, medical certificates, visas, flag state endorsements, and licenses.
• Oversee travel arrangements, port agency coordination, visas, and ticketing for joining/repatriation.
• Monitor crew performance, address grievances, promote welfare and wellbeing.
• Control crew-related expenditures and variance reporting against crewing budget.
• Serve as shore-based contact for crew emergencies and medical evacuations.
