Job summary

BuildBridge Partners Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Project Manager in Singapore. You will lead end-to-end management from planning and coordination through to installation, testing, commissioning and handover of fire protection systems for building projects.

The role requires a degree or diploma in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering or related field, with relevant fire protection PM experience in construction and strong knowledge of sprinklers, fire alarms, and wet/dry

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in fire protection project management within the construction industry.
• Good knowledge of fire protection systems, including sprinklers, fire alarms, wet and dry risers.
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage fire protection projects from planning and coordination through to installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Oversee installation of fire protection systems including sprinkler systems, fire alarms, wet and dry risers.
• Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials and subcontractor performance to meet schedules.
• Review drawings, technical submissions and installation plans for compliance with specs.
• Manage project costs, variation orders, progress claims and other commercial matters.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure installation quality and code compliance.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections and handover documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical, site coordination and operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health requirements.
