Job summary

Active Fire Protection Systems Pte. Ltd. is seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead and coordinate fire protection system installations from design through commissioning.

You will supervise teams of supervisors, liaise with owners, consultants and contractors, and ensure timely delivery of compliant, high-quality installations for data centers and other facilities. The ideal candidate will manage project stages, maintain quality, and support rigorous documentation while adapting to tight

Qualifications

• Experience in fire protection industry or related field (1–3 years preferred).
• Strong technical fundamentals in related engineering disciplines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project for planning and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of supervisors to implement fire protection systems across all project phases.
• Plan and oversee project stages from concept to testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, site supervisors, foremen, and workers.
• Attend meetings with owners, consultants, and contractors to address coordination issues.
• Report project progress and issues to the Project Director; ensure deadlines and compliance.
• Adapt to tight deadlines while maintaining quality and standards; support project documentation.

Job Summary

Lead and manage fire protection system projects, coordinating teams and stakeholders from design through completion to deliver compliant, high-quality installations for clients including world-class data centers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of supervisors to implement fire protection systems including Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Hosereel, Hydrant, Rising Main, Emergency Communication, and Gas systems throughout all project phases


• Plan and oversee project stages from concept, design development, contract documentation, authority submissions, site management, to testing and commissioning


• Supervise on-site work and coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, site supervisors, foremen, and workers to ensure smooth project execution


• Attend and contribute to meetings with owners, consultants, and contractors to address project operations and coordination issues


• Report project progress and issues directly to the Project Director for effective project management


• Adapt to tight deadlines while maintaining quality and compliance standards


• Utilize computer skills to support project documentation and communication

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in fire protection industry or related field, ideally 1-3 years in a similar capacity


• Strong technical fundamentals in engineering disciplines related to fire protection systems


• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project for project planning and reporting


• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to engage stakeholders effectively


• Self-driven, proactive, and motivated to learn and adapt quickly


• Candidates with Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Post Graduate Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering are encouraged to apply
