CINVI SYSTEMS PTE. LTD.

is seeking a knowledgeable Fire Protection Engineer to design, coordinate, and implement fire protection systems including alarms, sprinklers, dry risers, and hose reels in line with Singapore’s safety regulations and project needs. The role involves liaising with consultants, authorities such as SCDF and FSSD, and site teams to ensure integrated fire safety across construction processes.

Responsibilities

• System Design & Coordination: Design and review fire protection systems per SCDF/FSSD regulations, Singapore Fire Code, and project specs; coordinate M&E/fire protection with consultants and other trades; prepare design calculations, layout drawings, and schematics.
• Submission & Compliance: Prepare and submit fire safety plans and calculations to FSSD for approval; liaise with QPs and RIs for submissions, inspections, and clearance; ensure all systems comply with SS CPs, NFPA (where applicable), and local codes.
• Project Implementation & Supervision: Conduct site inspections to ensure installation meets design intent and standards; support site team with technical advice, material selection, and system integration; prepare inspection documents, test reports, and assist in T&C.
• Documentation & Support: Assist in O&M manual preparation and as-built drawings; provide technical support for tenders and variation claims.

We are looking for a knowledgeable and self-driven Fire Protection Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, and implementation of fire protection systems, including fire alarm, sprinkler, dry riser, hose reel and etc, in compliance with Singapore’s fire safety regulations and project requirements.

You will play a key role in liaising with consultants, authorities (e.g., SCDF, FSSD), and site teams to ensure fire safety systems are effectively integrated into the construction process.

Key Responsibilities

• System Design & Coordination
  Design and review fire protection systems in accordance with SCDF/FSSD regulations, Singapore Fire Code, and project specifications
  Coordinate M&E/fire protection services with consultants, architects, and other trades
  Prepare design calculations, layout drawings, and schematic diagrams


• Submission & Compliance
  Prepare and submit fire safety plans and calculations to FSSD for approval
  Liaise with Qualified Persons (QPs) and Registered Inspectors (RIs) for submissions, inspections, and clearance
  Ensure all systems comply with SS CPs, NFPA standards (where applicable), and local codes


• Project Implementation & Supervision
  Conduct site inspections to ensure installation meets design intent and standards
  Support site team with technical advice, material selection, and system integration
  Prepare inspection documents, test reports, and assist in T&C process


• Documentation & Support
  Assist in O&M manual preparation and as-built drawings
  Provide technical support for project tenders and variation claims
