Job summary

DP World Singapore (DP World Singapore Pte. Ltd.) is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, audits and statutory compliance for Singapore entities and newly acquired companies.

The role requires strong leadership and hands-on experience with full sets of accounts, SFRS(I) and ERP systems. You will lead monthly/quarterly closings, drive budgeting and variance analysis, coordinate with auditors and tax agents, and implement process

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CA/CPA) is advantageous.
Min 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
Experience supervising junior accounting staff.
Hands-on experience with full sets of accounts, reporting, budgeting and audits.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts for DP World Singapore and acquired entities.
Support monthly, quarterly and year-end closing and reporting.
Supervise and develop a finance team for accurate operations.
Drive budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for Singapore entities.
Coordinate with auditors for annual audit cycle.
Manage Singapore corporate tax, GST compliance and other statutory duties.
Lead new finance process improvements and ERP/system implementations.
Support onboarding of acquired entities and align processes and controls.
Enforce accounting policies and internal controls; adhere to SOPs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
