Job summary

transportation partners pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced Finance Lead in Singapore to oversee financial reporting, consolidation, and internal controls.

You will drive monthly closes, GAAP adjustments, and financial statements for management and statutory filings. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analyses, and strategic planning, partnering with cross-functional teams to support executive decisions in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in external or internal audit is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently in an international, cross-cultural environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee financial consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and GAAP adjustments.
• Lead preparation and review of financial statements, management reports, statutory submissions, and other reporting requirements.
• Review journals, transactions, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure appropriate accounting treatment for complex/non-routine transactions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles.
• Conduct variance, profitability, and performance analyses for senior management.
• Provide commercial/financial insights to support executive decisions and strategic planning.
• Lead annual external audits and manage auditor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, GAAP, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee statutory and tax filings and monitor regulatory changes.
