Job summary

raffles employment pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage full sets of accounts, AP/AR, and closing processes in Singapore. You will oversee internal controls, assist with budgeting and audits, and report to senior management.

The role requires strong ERP skills (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/Kingdee), advanced Excel, and a solid grasp of local tax laws. Prior supervisory experience is preferred and CPA/CA/ACCA is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of accounting experience, including handling full sets of accounts and supervisory experience.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Kingdee) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Deep knowledge of local tax laws, statutory reporting, and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts, ledgers, AP and AR; perform month-end and year-end closing.
• Coordinate audits, prepare schedules and liaise with auditors; ensure SFRS/GAAP/IFRS compliance.
• Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet) and statutory reports.
• Develop and improve internal accounting controls and mentor the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Operations & Reporting:Manage full sets of accounts, general ledgers, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).Perform month-end and year-end closing processes, bank reconciliations, and cash flow projections.Prepare monthly management accounts (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet) and statutory financial reports.
• Compliance & Audits:Ensure adherence to local tax and regulatory requirements.Coordinate external audits, prepare audit schedules, and liaise with auditors.Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) or general accounting frameworks (GAAP/IFRS).

• Budgeting & Planning:Help draft and monitor annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cost control measures.Analyze financial performance variances and report insights to senior management or the CFO.

  Internal Controls & Leadership:Develop, review, and improve internal accounting controls and operating procedures.Supervise, guide, and mentor members of the finance team.

  Requirements

  • Professional Certifications:Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or ACCA qualification preferred.
  • Experience:Typically 3 to 8 years of accounting experience, including handling full sets of accounts and prior supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Technical Skills:Strong proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Kingdee) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
