Job summary

DP World Singapore is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Finance function, overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and statutory compliance for Singapore and newly acquired entities.

The role requires leading a team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and coordinating with auditors and tax agents to meet regulatory requirements. A strong command of SFRS(I) and ERP systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
• ACCA/CA/CPA or equivalent is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Proven experience supervising junior accounting staff.
• Advanced hands-on experience with full sets of accounts, reporting, budgeting, audits and statutory requirements.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS(I) and internal controls.
• Experience with GST and corporate income tax compliance would be advantageous.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP implementations or enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts for DP World Singapore and acquired companies.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes and reporting.
• Supervise and develop the finance team for accurate daily operations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for Singapore entities.
• Coordinate with auditors for annual audits.
• Coordinate with tax agents on Singapore tax and GST compliance.
• Drive new finance process improvements and ERP system implementations.
• Support onboarding and integration of newly acquired entities.
